I am very excited to present my blog On the Colorful Side to you all! For my first post I decided it would be a great idea to introduce myself so you can get to know me better. So here are a few facts about me:
I’m a marketing student.
I’m a third year Marketing senior (graduating a semester early. YAY!) I chose marketing because I’m very creative and am interested in all the different forms of marketing. I would love to go into PR, event planning, social media marketing, and consulting. My ultimate career goal is to end up working for a Fashion Retail company.
I Absolutely love traveling
I’ve visited Ecuador, Canada, and quite a few states in the US (thirteen to be exact, but whose counting). I am very passionate about seeing the world and experiencing different cultures. I also cannot wait to visit Europe. Just thinking about all the beautiful fashion, nature, and architectural shots I can take while I’m visiting other countries gets me all excited.
I’m a serious foodie
One of my favorite things to do is eat! My boyfriend, Darian, and I love exploring New York and finding new places to try out. I have many must try spots that I will cover on this blog. Just for reference, my favorite food is lasagna and I love ice cream (all day, every day!)
I am a full time student, employee, and an intern!
I attend university in NY and am also a student worker at the business school I attend. I work at the Dean’s Suite as a receptionist and I enjoy it very much. While at work I get to interact with professors, students, and visitors. I’m also an intern at 1800 Flowers Headquarters. Obtaining this internship was a very big deal to me because I worked very hard to become the Marketing & Communications Intern at Personalization Universe (one of 1800 Flowers many brands) but that’s a story for another day. Some days I have classes, my job, and internship all on the same day and it can get quite interesting to say the least.
