Valentine's Day outfit ideas to make your Valentine's Day extra special. This look features a beautiful red coat from Old Navy and red heels that were only $10 from...

Valentine’s Day is definitely not just a holiday for couples! Whether you are going out with friends or your significant other, V-Day is another excuse (not like you need one) to get dress up. Today I am sharing two looks that will be perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Happy Valentine's Day! This Valentine's Day outfit is made up of a flattering white lace dress with sleeves, and red pointed toe lace up flats..

Romantic in Lace

If you have been looking for the perfect dress than your hunt is over! This romantic lace dress from Charlotte Russe is not only flattering but it is absolutely stunning! I would recommend sizing down one or two sizes for a fitted look. Although this dress is not on their website, you may still be able to find it in store as I purchased mine at a physical location. I have also linked similar dresses here, here, and here.

You can wear this look with heels or flats for your night out. The red heels I am pictured wearing were a steal at $10 from 10dollarmall.com (If you would like to see a review or more looks from 10dollarmall.com let me know in the comments!) These pointed toe lace-up caged flats from Charlotte Russe are comfortable, affordable, and are a perfect statement piece. The best part is that Charlotte Russe is having a buy one get one for $10 sale on all dresses and shoes! So basically what I am saying is run over to Charlotte Russe and pick yourself up a cute outfit for Valentine’s Day.

This Valentine's Day look features affordable black over the knee boots, light wash american eagle jeans, a striped top from forever 21, a red blazer, and black brim hat. This look is perfect for a Valentine's Day date or girls night out.

City Chic

If dresses aren’t your thing then throw on a pair of over the knee boots and a blazer for Valentine’s Day. These over the knee boots by Chinese Laundry are my go to’s on days where I want to look put together but it’s too cold to wear heels. They are very affordable with a price tag of under $100 and you can even find them for under $80 when they go on sale. I find it hard not to think of Beetle Juice when I see striped tops but that doesn’t stop me from rocking them. This top from Forever 21 is very good quality and isn’t see through (Yes!) I finished this look off with a red blazer by Ann Taylor and a black brim hat that I purchased at JCPenney.

I will be posting one more Valentine’s Day look featuring a dreamy tulle skirt this week so be sure to come back to On the Colorful Side to check it out. Thank you for stopping by!

Can you believe I’ve had it forever but have never worn it? It is one of my favorite pieces now!
