Striped Scarf & Burgundy Boots

It finally feels like fall in New York! The leaves are changing colors and the weather is at its most perfect state, which by my fashion definition is warm enough to wear dresses but cool enough to accessorize with scarves and over the knee boots. Today I will be sharing one of my favorite fall-ready outfits!

That is the exact look I went for with this navy surplice dress from Forever 21 which is only wait for it-$14.90! Just incase you don’t know what surplice is (I didn’t!) surplice is any article of clothing in which the front halves are crossed diagonally. I am absolutely head over heels for this dress that comes in three colors and I’ve been wearing it non stop since I got it a week ago!

To accessorize I added this striped scarf and this floppy hat that are also from Forever 21 and both under $12! If you haven’t watched my fall haul video yet, where I feature these items and more, check out my (first ever) Youtube video here.

As far as shoes go, I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of burgundy over the knee boots and I finally found them! These gorgeous over the knee boots are exactly what I wanted. I love them so much that you might just see them in a different color in an upcoming blog post! I have quite the collection of OTK boots so be sure to comment below if you would like me to share tips on where to find the best and most affordable ones.

To complete the look I added this Tory Burch tote in the color luggage. It is hands down the perfect bag for fall! It’s able to hold all the necessities and even has a zipper pocket that fits my 13″ macbook air!
