Spring has sprung and I would be lying if I said the main reasons I was excited weren’t the warmer temperatures, the flowers, and the fashion. Today I have put those three together with a floral outfit that is perfect for spring.
P.S. This outfit is also great for Easter!
This sleeveless dress from H&M has such a fun pattern and with a $29.99 price tag it is definitely a score for this season. This dress features cutouts at the waist and a high neck which adds a nice touch of sophistication. I opted to cover up the cutouts with a blush pink blazer. I have linked this exact dress and a similar blazer below.
To tie the look together I wore these nude heels by DVF. I am proud to share that these heels by Diane Von Furstenburg are my first pair of designer heels. So it all started when I realized that I needed the perfect pair of nude heels for the many events, presentations, and meetings I attend as a business student. I am constantly dressing up and while I have many pairs of heels for work I just didn’t have the pair. I know you ladies feels me on this. My list of needs were simple: not too high, not too low, nude, and I wanted them to have a natural finish (not shiny.) While I found many heels that I liked, none of them fit all my needs until I found these. I knew these DVF pumps were the ones the second I laid eyes on them. After wearing them for about a week now I can tell you that they are the most comfortable pair of heels I have ever worn. They passed the true test yesterday when I had a jam packed day. I wore them for 12 hours straight through my classes, my trip to Bloomberg Headquarters in Manhattan, and back to my university for a business event my society was hosting. I purchased the DVF Olee Pumps at TJMaxx for $100. As a college student, a splurge like this is unusual for me but I could not pass up on my dream heels. So basically, if you are looking for a pair of nude heels, these are a great find and can be purchased in store or for a slightly higher price online at Nordstrom Rack here.
