It can be a little tricky to style tulle skirts due to the ultra feminine look that they give off, so today I will be showing you 3 ways to style them. Fair warning though, once you put one on you will feel like a princess and you will not want to take it off!
Edgy
Ever since I purchased this skirt from Charlotte Russe I have been dying to style it. I started off this look with this blush pink tulle midi skirt and a lace sweetheart neck crop top from Forever 21 ( similar tops can be found here and here.) By the way, this skirt is on sale for only $15 and comes in many colors! I decided to go the non traditional route and added a gray denim moto jacket. Remember, it’s all about adding an unexpected twist to your outfit. This edgy yet feminine look can also be achieved by adding a leather jacket, a graphic tee, and ankle boots.
Classic
For this outfit I wore the same tulle skirt, lace top, and gray booties, but added a white knee length coat for a polished look. I recommend adding a light-colored handbag which will look great with the white, pink, and gray tones of this outfit. This look is perfect for a day out and would look beautiful with dainty jewelry.
Romantic
For look number 3, I swapped the gray booties out for these Christian Seriano for Payless pumps. While the heel is a little higher than I am used to (I blame conservative business heels), these are very good quality and surprisingly comfortable. To tie this look together, I opted for a black and white houndstooth peacoat.
As always, thank you for stopping by and I hope you all have a lovely Valentine’s Day!
I love all of these! It’s crazy the difference that shoes can make on an outfit. I want a tulle skirt so badly, and $15 is so affordable!:)
