Can we all agree that fall fashion is the best? I love New York in every season, but fall definitely takes the cake. You have perfect weather, visits to pumpkin patches and apple picking, Fright Fest at Six Flags, Halloween, the return of the best Starbucks drink ever (no, not the PSL…hate it 😅) the salted caramel hot chocolate, and let’s not forget to mention the Walking Dead begins airing again. You can basically do no wrong in the fall. Today I’m sharing what’s in my cart for fall, along with a few items on my wishlist.
Shall we start with jackets? I find myself hoping for the days to be on the chilly side so that I can grab my latest obsession, this corduroy jacket. It’s perfectly oversized and great for the cooler days. I find every excuse to wear it, but of course, my denim jacket never falls far behind.
Printed pants are my thing right now. I get double wear out of this pair of plaid ankle pants at work with a button down top, or with a graphic tee on the weekends. I recently purchased this pair of corduroy pants and I cannot wait to wear them out. There is just something about plaid pants that really gets me going. I really wanted this pair, but if you have fuller hips and thighs like me, then this pair is a no-no.
This colorblocked pullover is officially my first sweater purchase of the season. I have quite the sweater collection, and I have to say my favorite place to buy them is Asos. If you need any recommendations, I wrote this post on my favorite sweater last winter and talked all about my favorite sweater brand.
All I want to wear on my feet in the fall is loafers and over the knee boots. Now it’s definitely still too warm to pull out OTK boots right now, but I am here for all loafers. I have finally found the perfect loafers! This pair of loafers from JCrew are the comfiest pair of flats I have ever owned, and they are 30% off right now! For under $50, the quality is unmatched. I love them so much that I own them in both the black and hazelnut colors. I recommend sizing up half a size. Also, I had to break them in for two days, but after that, they became buttery soft! I feel the need to add that I haven’t worn combat boots since high school, but I have really been feeling them lately. You can be sure that a pair of these will make it’s way into my cart soon.
Hair accessories are a must every season. I always opt for inexpensive pieces like this velvet twist headwrap. I know that it will go with everything this season. I only recently purchased this burgundy headwrap as well, and guess what, it was under $5. It’s also time for me to start pulling baker boy caps and berets.
I hope you enjoyed my roundup of everything I’m buying this fall! Make sure to follow along on Instagram to see these items in use!
