3 Ways to Wear Pastels this Spring

When you think about spring fashion what pops into your head? For me it’s pastels! I love all the beautiful shades of pink, blue, purple, green, yellow, and basically every color there is. Today I will be sharing three ways to rock pastels this spring because let’s face it, you can never go wrong with pastels!

This beautiful mint dress, which was an amazing buy from Macy’s, actually comes with a story. I had been looking for a dress to wear to my boyfriend Darian’s graduation but could not find one anywhere! It was now one day before his graduation and I had still not found the perfect dress. Did I forget to mention that this was also the first time I would meet his family and that he’d be up on stage when I was introduced to them?! So the pressure was on and Macy’s did not disappoint. I found this gorgeous mint dress with lace detailing for only $13! Is that not unheard of at Macys? Although some may not consider mint to be a pastel, I definitely believe that certain shades of mint fall into the category. It is bright, fun, and pairs perfectly with other pastels!

Another great option for adding pastels into your wardrobe is through cardigans. Cardigans are perfect for spring because they add a little extra warmth on those breezy spring days. My cardigan was purchased from Forever21 a couple of years back, but don’t worry, as per usual I’ve got you covered with a similar cardigan linked at the end of this post.

Finally, my favorite way to wear pastels is through accessories! Not only does adding accessories make your whole outfit look put together, but adding pastel accessories adds a statement. I added this beautiful pink crossbody  to tie my whole look together. I encourage you to add several pastels into your outfits, it makes for a very classic and girly look. This cross body was purchased at Burlington Coat Factory for less than $10! I don’t know about you, but my magic number is 10. If it’s $10 or below and it looks this great, you have to buy it! Definitely check out Burlington in stores as I always amazing deals and items in store vs. online.
